Elixir Distillers is an independent bottler that released The Single Malts of Scotland range in 2002. This range consists of vintage single malt Scotch whiskies selected for their individual quality and character. Along with the classic single cask collection, the range includes the Director’s Special series personally selected by Sukhinder Singh, as well as two small-batch collections: the accessible Reserve Casks and the more mature Marriage of Casks.

Ardlair is the name used for unpeated whisky produced at the Ardmore Distillery.
A small batch of three butts have been used to create this unpeated Highland Single Malt, distilled in 2010 and aged for 11 years.

Nose – Beautifully intense notes of linseed oil which gives way to vanilla ice cream rippled with blackberry coulis. Wood spice creates a beautiful balance with the vanilla and fruit and warms up on the nose as spicy sandalwood.

Palate – Dark runny honey creates a luscious ear thinness that gives the backbone to this dram. Warming notes from baking spices – cinnamon, nutmeg and Madagascan vanilla combine with the honey to give a sweet, creamy and rich flavour profile that is truly ambrosian.

Finish – As you breathe through each sip, forest floor elements begin to develop as if walking through the woods after its rained. The finish lingers and dark fruits from the nose make an appearance once again, leaving you with bright jammy notes.
