This Cuve is a selection of barrels made from said single vineyard, a premium site in the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge that was meticulously designed to produce the highest quality Pinot Noir with the planting of high density vines using disease-free Dijon clones.

Tasting Notes – Brambles, black cherry and spice from sumac and aniseed are pronounced on the nose while the palate has a tense and phenolic grip. Plush red fruits like wild strawberries arrive as the wine uncoils and savoury heft is added by tomato skin and pomegranate. A spicier vintage that is complemented by very subtle pencil shaving oak notes and a saline finish.
